i just finished Linnea Sterte's 'Garden of Spheres'. it sounds like it started as a set of core feelings and images, and the book was made as a way to nucleate specifics around that. of necessity, it bobs from place to place in a vast, phantasmagoric world, visiting different times and beings.

Assets that came from these concepts were also in the first Kromlech dev diary - they're bronze decorations for barrowfolk tombs and other locations. You can see repeated motifs of horned sorcerer kings and Heron who carries souls back from Danain, so they can serve as undead sentinels.

Something a little different today -- a digital experiment! When I first found out about my paint allergy, I gave digital a try by painting on top of one of my color roughs from my last solo show in procreate. I didn't enjoy it enough to produce my finals this way, but it was fun to play around!

One last illustration for the Swords Without Masters, again @portablecity.bsky.social is such an incredible art director and assembled such a cool squad of artists for this project, it's been so fun to see everyone flesh out their ideas
