Your problem is not that you have discrepancies in your data, it's that you don't understand them. There's nothing wrong with discrepancies. Most people will trust the data if you can explain the discrepancies. The challenge is when you yourself don't understand what's causing discrepancies

I think I'm done with conversion rate optimisation as a discipline. It just doesn't excite me anymore. The main reason is that you end up spending more time solving cultural problems, over coming biases and opinions and very little time actually solving real customer problems.
