Senator Paul has done a very effective job just today of critiquing this administration’s lawless use of force both abroad and at home.

Sales are 3 to 1 in favor of ICE vehicles over EVs, but nearly all the cars being scrapped are ICE. That's because the cars on the road are almost entirely ICE.

The whole drug thing was obviously a lie, Trump will Venezuelan oil, and Venezuela isn't a major source of drugs. So what were the boat bombings about? Just random violence?

The American reaction to Trump's kidnapping reminds me of the confusion about the always popular "bombing country X". Knocking down a few buildings is never the Final Solution it is joyfully acclaimed as. It's only good for one media cycle.

It’s important to keep in mind that Trump hasn’t actually accomplished anything. The United States does not control Venezuela in any way. Trump’s blather about running the country is meaningless. In the real world, an interim president has already been appointed.

I remember when they were saying they were powerless to return a man they illegally sent to an El Salvador gulag because it would violate that country's national sovereignty.

There are good reasons why the U.S. Constitution doesn’t leave the decision over going to war to the whims of one man.

The lawless killing spree continues. Do not become inured. This is premeditated killing outside of armed conflict. We call that murder.
On Dec. 18, at the direction of
@SecWar
 Pete Hegseth, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted lethal kinetic strikes on two vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations in international waters. Intelligence confirmed that the vessels were transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and were engaged in narco-trafficking operations. A total of five male narco-terrorists were killed during these actions - three in the first vessel and two in the second vessel. No U.S. military forces were harmed. #OpSouthernSpear

At the same time, the "hybrid" war is raging on the internet. National borders with their physical fences and roadblocks don't matter. War is increasingly ephemeral.

The front line in Ukraine is no longer defined by physical trenches, but by information -- knowing who is where. If a Russian infiltration unit gets found by the Ukrainians, it gets eliminated immediately. As long as Ukraine doesn't have that information, the unit is fine.
