Die Parallele, die Becchi zwischen dem Untergang des römischen Reiches und der heutigen EU zu ziehen sucht, kann jeder ziehen, der über das römische Reich ausschließlich durch Lehrbücher informiert ist. Was bei diesem Aufsatz auffällt, ist allerdings der Lebenslauf des Verfassers.

I believe that we usually misconceptualize clear language in writing especially in academia. It does not neceserraly have something to do with clear ideas. One can have some clear ideas and still doesnt want to express them in a clear way. Communication is not the only reason of writing.
