Getting a real kick out of The Path of the Priest, one of my GenCon acquisitions. In this game, you are an apprentice who navigates a world of true and false masters in an attempt to draw close to your god.

This little apprentice has a long way to go to achieve closeness to the divinity! It’s hard to put all the cards in a line as intended so I am going out and back.

Just played a game of Kart! that made me laugh until I cried. One of us couldn’t turn right, we both got stuck in the mud, and Alita beat me at the end by jumping over me in a desperate last move.

This weekend is the first-ever SDHistCon North, right here in Saint Paul! Yesterday, we had the best pre-convention activity ever. @ryanschneider.bsky.social helped organize a tour of Civil War artifacts that included a viewing of the flag the 1st Minnesota took at Gettysburg. Incredible.
