We're big fans of local Saint Paul band Alligator Orchestra. After hearing songs they wrote about Root, we commissioned them to record a Kart theme song. They came back with "Don't Look Down!", two minutes of raucous pop-punk that's perfect for Kart's reckless downhill races.

Def not cooler (well over 100 degrees). I worked at monastic sites, so lots of finding and cataloguing little pieces of pottery, with the occasional cluster of painted plaster. We had no internet and spent the evenings watching whatever someone had illegally downloaded. 10/10 would do again. lol

I am going to recommend lots of street food, and also that you go to a juice bar. (Just look for a place with a bunch of fruit hanging over the entrance.) Strawberry juice and "banana with milk" are incredible, and the orange juice is fresh squeezed.

I love my historicals, but since you're getting back into solo gaming and seem to have all-around good taste, I am going to recommend Unstoppable, which is newer, damn fun, and has a really cool card upgrade system.
