US withdrawal from Iraq was scheduled a few years in advance. But with Iran hitting US bases there, and Iran-allied Iraqi militias launching drones at Saudi Arabia, the withdrawal looks—to everyone in the region, and the wider world—like the US under fire ceding more of the Middle East to Iran.

Our travel to Scotland 3 years ago, eating out 3 times a day, we noticed prices were not more than we pay in the states. They don’t tip their servers (unless you feel inclined). Also, no one works two jobs. Many of our servers were going to the university…also free. Medical covered for all citizens.
