Recently diagnosed with adenomyosis which I was informed is a 'friend' of endometriosis. (Both are my enemies). If both are an overgrowth of cells, in the wrong place, why don't we call them cancer, hmmm?

My 'favourite' thing about the recent Artemis mission was the part where the astronauts on board were saying how it's one earth and we're all on it together etc and in the background have their respective flags. Then in the welcome back event continue to speak about their own countries. Oh the irony

First glimmers of sunnier weather on the 28th January in Hertfordshire inspired me to sit out and have lunch outside and take some pictures. The beauty and resilience of moss and lichen

Britain pays wind farms to turn off when it’s windy and overpays gas plants to switch on instead. It'll cost bill payers up to £8b/yr by 2030. Zonal energy pricing would slash this. We’ve started tracking this (avoidable) waste live on our site: octopus.energy

Held a piece of the moon last night! Went to the wonderful battlefields dark sky event which featured 4.5 billion year old meteorites we handled close up and a magnificent telescope showing us constellations and the beautiful strawberry moon! What a way to spend our 19th wedding anniversary ❤️

Tried for first time ever voting in Eurovision as didn't want Israel to win. Like Spain PM I didn't think they should be in it if Russia cannot. It's either impartial or it's not. Could not vote on app nor by text or phone. Wondering if anyone in UK was able to vote?

No, SARS-CoV-2 isn’t a little bit airborne. It’s not “situationally” airborne. It’s an AIRBORNE VIRUS, spreads via the air. I’m granting an amnesty on people who said (5y ago) that it wasn’t. I won’t say I told you so if you finally acknowledge the evidence. Let’s just get this right and move on.

Excellent paper, Cath and all involved! Only just read it. I wonder whether we will ever have cheaply available means of scrubbing CO2 from the indoors air too to save on heating costs. I know there are chemical scrubbers but think they are probably either too hazardous or pricey for home use.

This is a message to my brothers. To all men. To men who see we are living through a tidal wave of misogyny. You don’t need to be perfect—or have been perfect—to stand up for women’s rights right now. The more men who speak out today, the safer tomorrow will be for women in the UK. That’s a fact.

My take home is people lied in the polls cos they didn’t want to admit they would rather vote for a convicted felon with an addiction to orange face paint who has been accused of multiple other crimes including being found guilty of sexual assault than an intelligent gifted black woman.

Just discovered Marbella. It's nothing like I thought it would be. It's more like Italy filled with Spaniards and few other nationalities. So beautiful, people so lovely. The only people I didn't like were the horse carriage owners who did not give a shit about their horses'need for drinking water

Made some vegan ice-cream yesterday using the new to me anyway, plant elmlea cream with brandy, some cornflour, cocoa, sugar and brandy soaked raisins. I used my ice cream maker for most of it but ended up needing to break up and chop a mass of the chocolate and raisins which added some texture!
