I have the feeling that if I am taking part in saving sessions 6 to 7pm several times a week then I will never get to a point where I am saving energy as I'm not usually using much due to the saving sessions....how to get out of the loop? By not opting in and using most electric 6 to 7pm.

The MPs who wasted their vote should be ashamed of themselves. They are elected and paid to vote. We the public don't get to vote on this so if they don't vote on it they should hand their notice in. Andy Burnham started this by himself saying he won't vote.

Recently diagnosed with adenomyosis which I was informed is a 'friend' of endometriosis. (Both are my enemies). If both are an overgrowth of cells, in the wrong place, why don't we call them cancer, hmmm?

I'm reminded of the famous quote doing the same thing and expecting a different result when I think of the WHO. I feel whilst the same person is in charge nothing will change. He just doesn't grasp that there are many infections that could be prevented by cleaner air and never will. This one & next

By coincidence I was weeding my front garden a couple of days ago and was about to decimate the entirety of all things green in the bed when a glimpse of yellow and blue caught my eye. It was a pansy! Each year i'd been weeding all of it but this year it managed to bloom before being plucked!

And the WHO saying cruise ships are special places where people are in close proximity implies cruise ships are the only place infection can spread person to person. The constant brushing under carpet and blinkered attitude helps no one but the infection.

My 'favourite' thing about the recent Artemis mission was the part where the astronauts on board were saying how it's one earth and we're all on it together etc and in the background have their respective flags. Then in the welcome back event continue to speak about their own countries. Oh the irony

And why instead do we not build high up water storage reservoirs that act as batteries for excess wind powered electric that could be released when demand for electricity is higher than wind power can generate?

Britain pays wind farms to turn off when it’s windy and overpays gas plants to switch on instead. It'll cost bill payers up to £8b/yr by 2030. Zonal energy pricing would slash this. We’ve started tracking this (avoidable) waste live on our site: octopus.energy

Tried for first time ever voting in Eurovision as didn't want Israel to win. Like Spain PM I didn't think they should be in it if Russia cannot. It's either impartial or it's not. Could not vote on app nor by text or phone. Wondering if anyone in UK was able to vote?

No, SARS-CoV-2 isn’t a little bit airborne. It’s not “situationally” airborne. It’s an AIRBORNE VIRUS, spreads via the air. I’m granting an amnesty on people who said (5y ago) that it wasn’t. I won’t say I told you so if you finally acknowledge the evidence. Let’s just get this right and move on.

Excellent paper, Cath and all involved! Only just read it. I wonder whether we will ever have cheaply available means of scrubbing CO2 from the indoors air too to save on heating costs. I know there are chemical scrubbers but think they are probably either too hazardous or pricey for home use.
