During my Master's, I watched people use AI/ML techniques to detect pneumonia, and working I saw it used to detect mineshaft cave ins before they happen. Now, these massive gigacorporations are using it to take jobs away from hardworking artists instead. Make it make sense.

I never understood how someone, even the most queerphobic, could get upset at the term partner. Even though girlfriend is fine, I still use the term partner because it feels *stronger*. Like, do they just see their husband/wife as a nuisance? Are they not their partner for life?

My partner has landed on cricket as a nickname/pet name for me because whenever I get really happy/excited I tend to move my legs up and down, often rubbing them together, like a cricket. So now when I get excited it's just "Oh my little cricket 🥰" Can't complain tbh
