Loved this episode! In all honesty, though, I’m not entirely sure you all fully understand the desperation of the healthcare crisis here in the U.S., otherwise the popular discourse around Luigi Mangione would have made more sense to you. I thought the discussion was very nuanced, though.

ty! and you’re right- we absolutely don’t. I think we set out saying we won’t discuss the righteousness of the crime nor the american health insurance system but i think you do need to touch on that in any conversation concerning the posts about him- it’s all connected in ways I didn’t grasp

I had a horrible year financially and medically. I moved in with my parents. I feel lucky. People still shout at me on There as though talking about it occasionally is me cosplaying as working class. Just endlessly spoiling for a fight over nothing. Headache inducing.
