Attendance was atrocious in my kindergarten class. School was very much on the bottom of a lot of families' lists. Tardies, too. On more than one occasion, I sent a photo of the pile of late passes to the @ALLPARENTS on my ClassDojo and was like, "You know I have to repeat the instructions, right??"

My friend's wife once rolled her SUV. She said she was surprised how much debris went flying from the unsuspicious amount of change in the cup holder, sports stuff in the backseat, purse next to her, random phone charger, etc. All those stupid ducks seem like an unnecessary danger!

I just had minor surgery and doc prescribed an ointment. Insurance denied it for the 4 days he put in as too short. So the pharmacist put in 10 days. Too long, denied. Tried 7 days. Too long. Tried 6 days. System crashed. I needed it now. Paid out of pocket. Luigi had a good idea.

I can't get hyped for more Marvel. Which is crazy, cuz those films were a huge bonding experience with my son as he grew up, wore the costumes, drew pictures, etc etc. I guess our national crisis is so hot, I get a little disappointed that people will turn out for a movie but not civil disobedience.

When Wells Fargo paid me back, I withdrew the $700 from PayPal and closed the account before they could follow up. So it seems there are some regular wire transfer apps like Wise and Western Union people use between Taiwan and the US.

My PayPal account was breached, not by anything I had done (and I hadn't even used it in years). Somebody bought $700 worth of Civil War coins. I filled out the fraud report at both PayPal and Wells Fargo. PayPal issued me a temporary credit that would be reversed if Wells Fargo paid me back, too...

This is what I also think is the likliest outcome. We've been in boiling frog-mode for so long, people think it's just the way things have to be. Until something so big hits, such as the grocery stores suddenly have no food or no affordable food.
