It was obvious propaganda - and the salary wasn’t eye-popping to me. As a unionized teacher this is par for the course of employers disparaging their workers. Was encouraged that most comments supported the workers. Good for the workers to get organized and get people’s attention w/a sickout.

Allowing federal immigration agents to continue accessing this information runs counter to the intent of the Governor's previous order barring ICE from accessing DOL data.
Washington should not continue providing federal immigration agents with another route to access this information.
I join immigrant rights advocates and community members across Washington, including the Thurston Immigrant Solidarity League, in calling for an end to this access.
Governor Ferguson has the authority to end it, and I'm asking him to act now.

Well I bought the dog a bed…but you can see how that’s working out. She sleeps on my bed at night so I know if she needs to go out. Some nights I don’t get much sleep. She had to go at 10:30, 11:30 and 1:30 AM last night. I’ll be so glad when she’s completely housebroken.

In Seattle too @mayor.seattle.gov. I counted 4 Amazon trucks in the space of an hour the other day, blocking a bus stop and streets in my Madison Park ‘hood. I have pics, very frustrating (would @ council member Hollingsworth as well but she’s not on Bsky.) A regular occurrence. They don’t care.

What kids has he talked to? As a retired now subbing teacher it’s interesting because some of this stuff came up in recent contract negotiations (adults want students to be safe, and want to be safe at school as well.) Haven’t heard anyone ask for metal detectors.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

My Medicare app got stuck on “someone’s” desk in who knows where, for months - hours on the phone to be told that the person was on a LOA. Had to go to the SS office (in Seattle) and wait for hours to get it fixed. God bless the workers who still help out, they are doing the work of several folks.
