Iceland’s 2026 fin whaling season has now ended with 93 whales killed but with nobody to sell them to. A perverse slaughter, but could these poor whales be the last to die at the hands of Icelandic whalers? 🤞👇 tinyurl.com/22pd9uv7

Norway’s 2026 whale hunt season has come to an end. Here are two key figures: 418 minke whales killed (but this does not include the unborn calves that die when pregnant females are shot). 1% of Norwegians regularly eat whale meat. This is a pointless slaughter. 👇 tinyurl.com/5n89eenx

Despite their name, pygmy killer whales are actually dolphins! 🐬 Rare & elusive, they live in deep, warm waters & feed on fish & squid. Sadly, they face threats including fishing gear, hunting, pollution & underwater noise. More here: ow.ly/M3OG50Zy1cQ Image: Pacific Whale Foundation
