What is "interesting" is that a lot of other retractions/corrections are ignored by the press. Pubpeer is full of it. We have excellent sleuths. In my pet area brain computer interfaces up to 80% of papers are questionable but: crickets. What is concerning that even the Guardian joined that pile on.

I remember one of the 1st experiences after the Brexit vote the total lack of compassion of brexiteers. Then when talking to them over the years (with me wrapped in an EU flag in Glasgow's city centre as part of GlasgowLovesEU) I learned more and more about them. In 2020 I made this diagram.
