I think people see *themselves* as a victim when they are in a parasocial relationship with someone who winds up being an abuser. So then “victim-centering” involves centering themselves. But that should be done in private, or in therapy, not on public access and seemingly in defense of the abuser.

One of the best stories out of this #wnba season is the WNBA art account. She’s an artist based in Chicago but her day job was in healthcare administration. At the beginning of the season she started posting sketches of funny or iconic moments from WNBA games on her instagram account.

I vividly remember my dad beating me with a belt and kept telling me not to cry or block my bottom or he would keep going. When I couldn't stop crying from the belt he got more angry and threw me across the living room into a large fish tank in the dining room. My mom removed herself from the room.

Trying to do non barrier introductions of the cats to the the new kitten. Eris decided that no, barriers were needed.

My favorite customer when I sold jewelry was a science teacher! He loved all the detail facts. I'm so glad my coworkers thought he was weird, they always gave me the weird ones. One of the few customer who listened to everything I was saying and asked such great questions.

My manager is trying to blow me up. She instead of checking to make sure my propane tank and O2 tank being turned off (which I always do) she turned both lines at the torch open, turned my regulator on my O2 all the way up, and marked me as leaving my gas on.
