Watching an episode of the 7Os tv series Kung Fu. Old West Kwai Chang Kaine just had a flashback to Young Man Kwai Chang Caine, who then had a flashback to kid Kwai Chang Caine. I’ve never seen a triple-decker flashback before.

Haven’t yet seen the new one. I can’t honestly recommend the others. I’ve seen them all, and they were fine (admittedly I’ve never played the game). But I’m 100% certain you can find a better use of your time.

I wrote a story a few years ago, which hinted at physical abuse, but I tried to emphasize emotional abuse. Not sure if it really worked, but I was mostly happy with it.

Whenever I run horror games, I preface them by saying “pretend you’re a character in a horror movie, and I guarantee we’ll all have a lot more fun.” This spurred on by too many times where a player avoided the plot because “it’s too scary.”

I spent a couple of months around Dallas in the 90s working on a film. The bugs were indeed huge. The ice cube sized hail was what really astounded me. Being an SF Bay Area guy, I’d never seen hail larger than gravel.
