I got home from donating platelets and booted up this demo, promptly sliced off 3 fingers with a filet knife, felt woozy and decided it was time to get some fresh air. Everyone should give a pint of blood to charity before playing for for the optimal experience.

A subterranean 5 story conveyor belt where a miner was killed while moving a 1 ton electric motor.

A subterranean coal mine with a diesel loader which crushed a miner to death.

A fatal subterranean vehicle crash caused by the mine company's failure to maintain their vehicles and flooded driving surfaces. The miner began work in the coal mine when he was just 18, and was killed before he reached 21.

It's been really satisfying brainstorming these sci-fi horror #MOTHERSHIP modules with @streetsurgery.bsky.social. In one, a high stakes time-crunch to catastrophe on a claustrophobic subway, in the other a flight from both new and familiar foes in an abandoned high rise.

I’m heading to work at the grocery and there is a Border Patrol helicopter the size of a truck circling my neighborhood. The lady is selling tacos in the park on my walk to work has never made me feel like I live in a warzone. ICE and border patrol have. They are disappearing my neighbors.

Today is bloooooood donation day followed up by a meeting with my ttrpg collaborators to talk nerdy about dying in space.

500mL of my delectable O+ human blood being collected for use in medical treatments for folks near and far. All blood types are needed year around. If you are unsure of your blood type you can learn it by donating!

I take a daily iron supplement to keep my blood iron levels high enough, and make sure to have a good meal and drink lots the day of my donation. In other countries the time between donations may be longer but in the US a person may donate whole blood every 8 weeks.
