Always been super happy with this character design. Love a sci-fi poncho! Anyways, more of this guy in ‘The Flower’, new printing out October 11 and available for pre-order here: benjisstories.bigcartel.com/product/the-...

On the rare occasions I do fan art it’s either of things that are old and irrelevant or new but nobody cares and it gets cancelled (I’m looking at you everyone who ignored Terminator Zero 😡). So I hope this doesn’t continue the Benji fanart curse of nobody giving a crap! Lanterns is the best btw 💚

At a certain point it’s gonna look like the plan is failing. But that’s when it’s gonna turn out that the failing plan was part of the plan.

Revisiting my home town via Google Street View and can confirm it is still the perfect place to set a suburban horror movie.

Just got out of seeing it. Had no business being that good. Also my theory is they set it in the 80’s because if someone from 2026 got sent back to dinosaur times they wouldn’t try to come back 🤣

Gonna try and use this place again. Which means I’ll be deleting it in 1-3 weeks 🤷🏼‍♂️

In my head canon this guy is the same guy who is the overly loud laugher sitting right next to the recording from all the past live tours.

Just like Spider-Man himself I’m Astonished that a fan of Comedy Bang Bang could have so little chill.

Spider-Man fans overreacting to one single panel from a comic they haven’t read yet? Well I never.

16 years ago I saw The Prodigy for the first time. In 2023 I released my graphic novel ‘DEADSHEET’, my love letter to The Matrix, Stephen King, 90’s rave culture and The Prodigy. In 2024 it won a National Award. Last night I got to give The Prodigy their own personal copies. What the hell is life!?

This was so damn good! And the whole time reading it I’m like “Man this reminds me of Sword of the Atom I need to re-read Sword of the Atom” and then I read the afterword and of course @jason-aaron.bsky.social mentions Sword of the Atom.

I just stood for 2 minutes watching a sparrow battling a huge moth on the ground and it was epic. I was imagining being an ant and watching it like a kaiju fight. The sparrow won. Anyway. Everyone should read Dawnrunners by @therightram.bsky.social for equally epic battles.

Look tomorrow is gonna be a drag and it’s so easy to feel discouraged but you only have to hang in there a little bit longer good things are coming

A screenshot where Netflix is telling us that the movie You Me & Dupree, the movie nobody likes but somehow made money, is coming to Netflix

A closeup of the screenshot where I have circled the date; You Me & Dupree, the hit movie that is nowhere close to being on the pop cultural landscape, will be available to stream on February 1st

There’s a few comedians, comic creators and even filmmakers who I love but I’ve had to unfollow because they spend more time responding to criticism/bait/false rumours than they do at all with engaging positivity and I feel like it just encourages that behaviour.

Things I will happily never to listen to again: 1. Old men say ‘Hook’ sucks 2. Old men say ‘The Goonies’ sucks 3. Old men correcting anyone who says ‘A New Hope’ with ‘Star Wars’ 4. Old men complaining about ‘The Phantom Menace’ 5. Old men.

Finally caught up on ‘Dawnrunner’by @therightram.bsky.social and Evan Cagle. What a stunning book. Can feel the Evangelion influence but this book is absolutely its own amazing thing.

I slept on Bring Down The House because when I see Zatanna I think “Oh she says stuff backwards except when it’s inconvenient for the plot” 😆 So the idiot I am missed out on the most beautiful @javierrodriguez.bsky.social art I’ve ever seen. But thanks to some hunting I fixed that mistake.
