Intermittent #fasting makes your hair shorter and thicker (if you shave your hair previously), a new study in @cellpress.bsky.social reports www.cell.com/cell/fulltex...

Intermittent fasting triggers interorgan communication to suppress hair follicle regeneration
Intermittent fasting halts hair follicle regeneration by activating communication between adrenal glands and niche adipocytes, which in turn selectively induces apoptosis of hair follicle stem cells but not epidermal stem cells in the skin.

Great slide highlighting not only are TILs predictive of pCR...it also translates to being prognostic beyond pCR for good outcome and DFS. Seems like we have a LOT of data on TILs now, why aren't they standardly provided on path reports???🧐 #SABCS24 @oncoalert.bsky.social @sabcs.bsky.social

Isolated tumor cells (ITCs) after neoadj can’t chemotherapy have frequently been considered positive lymph nodes when considering axillary management and adjuvant therapy. Important global study that suggests, as @maryamlustberg.bsky.social notes, less may be more! #bcsm
