We just rewatched Godzilla Minus One. Interesting to watch it in These Times. A band of civilian misfits fight the monster , sacrificing no one in the process. Banded together because their government doesn’t value their humanity. I’m inspired. Best movie of the 2020’s. 10/10

Im learning that tolerance isn't an ethical imperative, but more of a social contract. Tolerance can (and should) be revoked when it is weaponized to undermine the peaceful coexistence it was meant to foster.
