The Blood of Dawnwalker fixes basically all the problems I had with The Witcher 3. Loot that actually matters, better combat, no random time-wasting sections that should have been cutscenes, more focused main narrative. The whole thing feels very intentional

I know 'mantasy' sounds silly, but I do think authors like Weir and Dinniman are writing very 'dad-focused' SFF. Books for the everyman who likes cars and football, rather than the subcultural nerd niche types who are the usual audience for genre fiction. 1/2

I want to play too! 9 games! Diablo and Goldeneye could easily be swapped with Age of Empires, Animal Crossing, Guild Wars 2, Minecraft... There's a ton of games I like a lot. But the other 6 feel particularly special to me and it would be hard to swap them out. Meme from my9games.com.
