Some installation and fabrication images of our most recent large model - Zara the Wooly Mammoth! This model was hand sculpted from high density foam and steel, before fiberglass reinforcement and furring. This is a fully tactile model designed for photo op installation - currently at the Neville.

Triceratops model exploration done over the weekend. This is not based on a particular specimen. While we have some skin impressions from triceratops frills, I elected for larger scales along its surface to study different keratin textures.
