I took a bunch of different sized circles of fabric and folded them into hexagons. On the folded side, added a tiny circle to the center of the hexies and then a few leaves. Plus stitched some embroidery to finish these pretty flowers. 👏🤩💚🧡 #quilting #sewing #handstitching #embroidery #quiltsky

I’ve been keeping the spools of threads I’m using, for a current quilt, in a small basket, near my comfy sewing chair. A few weeks ago I made these two tiny tassels, for my Bits & Bobs quilt. The red one by repurposing belt loops from a dress and the pink one using one of the cotton threads I recently thrifted. I used some wicking thread I had, to wrap them. It’s so fun creating with old things. 👏🪡🧵🥰 #quiltsky
