Using some lovely blue & white fabric motifs, I made a feature of them, on this mini quilt. I added lace accents, decorated buttons, and ribbon roses, to fill the vase. 👏🤩💙💛 #quilting #sewing #handstitching #embellishments #embroidery #quiltsky

Two more ways I’ve created embellishments: The left one is green lace, back to back & slightly overlapped, to make a line for the cross-stitching. The right one is a band of fabric, with scalloped blanket stitches and buttons. #quilting #sewing #handstitching #embellishments #embroidery #quiltsky

I haven’t tested it, as the quilts I’ve used it on, are not going to be washed. If you get to test some, please let me know how it does. I don’t think there are many trims meant to be washed.

I took a bunch of different sized circles of fabric and folded them into hexagons. On the folded side, added a tiny circle to the center of the hexies and then a few leaves. Plus stitched some embroidery to finish these pretty flowers. 👏🤩💚🧡 #quilting #sewing #handstitching #embroidery #quiltsky
