By that, I mean it's going to be heartbreaking.

Great price for one of the best groundbreaking television shows of all time.

Big Ben Eagles @beneagles.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

It's no longer just overseas, recently all taped shows have been affected by this. And I believe it's more to do with the fact that they don't pad the taped shows with commercials and because of that the show would technically air the main event on MyAEW before TBS.

After almost dying last year, thanks diverticulitis, I only had two wrestling related goals, for the first time ever, see AEW live and see Kenny Omega wrestle. Crossed both off the list this year. Next up, see a MW show in Gatineau. I attended MW27 and it was the best show I've ever been to.

I'm all for wrestling in fun unique venues! Some of my favorite shows from WCW were the Spring Break shows where they would surround the ring with a pool.

The article is so disingenuous, it's insane. @alexwgalbraith.bsky.social should be ashamed to have written this article because the point he's trying to make is backed up with no proof. Like you said, we don't know why PAC or Andy died and Jay/Brodie's death had nothing to do with wrestling.

070

Big Ben Eagles @beneagles.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

They hadn't used Andy in months because his contract had expired. He wasn't even working officially with the company at the time of his death.

Looks like Facebook Marketplace has started implementing AI reviews. I went to edit a listing for some old WWF Superstars of Wrestling Kmart cups and it was blocked because I'm "trying to sell animals" and that goes against their rules. Here's the dog I'm trying to sell...

daingersnake Got the text at 10am on the way to the arena that gear was needed for Ben's tribute show. I am incredibly humbled @bryanldanielson asked me to do this.

From nothing but piles of materials to completion - 90 Minutes. I did the trunks and knee pads, @house_show_gear did the added PAC'S side stripes as a tribute.

was an emotionally heavy day, but getting to make these and work alongside Adryan & Every professional in the building was therap

Rest Well Ben

As a wrestling fan of over 35 years, I have spent way too much time watching tribute shows through tears. It never gets any easier.

This coming from the man that smashed a thrown with a sledgehammer cracks me up.

Big Ben Eagles @beneagles.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

This might be a copout, but everything? He was amazing in the ring, his promo delivery was solid, his character work and dedication was second to none, and, more importantly, it sounds like he was a genuinely amazing person. Plus, he has an awesome first name.

SB Nation in general is a pretty large company and it's 100% reputable. They just aggregate news more than anything and recap shows, but I would imagine a company that touts itself as "... the largest independent sports media brand," would be.

Back during their NXT days, Sami Zayn pitched a ska gimmick for him and Neville. Apparently, it was approved by Dusty at the time but for some reason didn't move forward.

Kind of fucked up that none of the official WWE company accounts have acknowledged the passing of PAC despite him working for the company for years. I know Triple H made a post eventually, but still seems fucked up.

Big Ben Eagles @beneagles.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

To be honest with you, it never really gets any easier. Especially once you spend literally decades of your life watching a performer on a near weekly basis. At this point I have 30+ years of watching my favorites pass too young, it sucks, and it's a very unfortunate side effect of being a fan.

One of the hardest things about being a wrestling fan is seeing far too many of them die young. It isn't as prevalent as it was few years ago, but that doesn't make it any easier when it does.
