yknow, one thing about this massive bot farm outtage that's kinda made me feel optimistic, is just... how inorganic this massive swing towards the right we've all had to endure over the last decade is. It's all fucking fake, it was fake from the start, and we know how to kill it

#Autism and #ADHD are very complicated. They are a natural part of the human race. Reports shouldn't be concerned with rates of diagnosis, they should recognise that the world is broadly set up just for neurotypicals. That's what's at the root of all the anxiety, depression and underachievement.

ADHD and autism at risk of over-diagnosis, says government review

The review, which focuses on younger age groups, warned there was a risk society was moving from an era of under-diagnosis to over-diagnosis or mis-diagnosis.

We need Greens to pressure and work with the UK govt. on wealth taxes, protecting art and human endeavour from AI, and on the climate. This, specifically highlighted, is toxic, counter-productive, and a bad look for them just as their Jewish leader (who opposed this) faces election for Parliament.

We need more things made from people’s deep personal feelings, not less. We need less committee, less algorithm. The good stuff comes from people souls without being heavily tampered with by rich businessmen who know nothing about art or story. People want to connect with that gem inside.

I wonder if there's such a platform that can host personal/hobby sites for your own content that has a 'following/subscriber' framework like social media but allows you to bypass SEO and the way AI search results are interfering with that?

One of the (many) reasons I all but quit Facebook is the feed just being full of algorithmic junk, and I swear to god we all don't turn to browser extensions enough. They are the superheroes of the modern internet experience. Look at this wizardry!

Really important step taken by the UK's National #Autistic Society. The research is far along enough for them to take this formal stance for the first time; #Autism is genetic. youtu.be/WLx9jyxJaRw?...

Was just in a local bakery offering 3 cookies for £4. I go for it and they charge me £6. I double checked the price on the sign and they just go "oh that's wrong, these are new cookies." I ask if they'd honour the advertised price and they look at me like I asked to have them for free. Walked out.

Made myself such a yummy chicken and chickpea korma just now. All I did was take a jar of Pataks and add chickpeas (obvs), some frozen chopped spinach, a bit of tomato puree, a touch of chilli powder and a half spoon each of sugar and salt.
