Demoniac. A four page pulp horror comic. For those that find these captions hard to read, understandably so, there is a comic sans version in the replies.

Page 1.

Panel 1 - A small cabin isolated in the wilderness, it is night. There are two silhouettes of horses in the background, against the trees. CAPTION: The night began with a graverobbing. By morning it was Dixon who was in his own grave, and I was the one who put him there.

Panel 2 - A man writing on a piece of paper by candlelight. Behind him through a window we see the full moon. CAPTION 1: It is true that I sent three rounds through Emmet Dixon's back, my best friend. Yet I do no concede that I am his murderer. CAPTION 2: Of the two of us Dixon was the skeptic, to the point of being faithless. I am quite the opposite, and omnist, others say superstitious.

Panel 3 - Three protective charms and symbols, the evil eye, Christian cross and two carved acorns. CAPTION 1: This skepticism cost Dixon his life.

Panel 4 - Four old books stacked on each other. CAPTION 1: These "legends" and "folk tales" are real damnit!

Panel 5 - A dreamcatcher. CAPTION 1: They're all real!

Panel 6 - Two cowboys on horseback silhouetted by a sunset. CAPTION 1: Despite my many warnings, Dixon was set on this ancient burial mound. He convinced me, as always.

Page 2.

Panel 1 - A wide view of the graverobbers digging up the mound with pickaxes. It is night, behind them are mountains and trees and the full moon. CAPTION 1: For hours we struck pick against dirt and rock, until we hit something that rang out. CAPTION 2: A tomb. CAPTION 3: A tomb which I myself would have no part opening, to which Dixon mockingly chuckled.

Panel 2 - The protagonist standing holding his lantern up. CAPTION 1: I stood at the base whilst he forced the tomb open.

Panel 3 - A shadowed figure climbing out the hole, only white eyes and teeth are visible. CAPTION 1: I never saw exactly what was inside, but I knew something was wrong when Dixon crawled out with this elated look on his face.

Panel 4 - An extreme closeup of Dixon's face with his eyes in shadow and a wide smile. CAPTION 1: A smile wider that I had seen on any face.

Panel 5 - The protagonists hand shakingly hovering over his pistol as Dixon approaches with a pickaxe in hand, still smiling. CAPTION 1: I thought at first that this could be a trick. A cruel joke characteristic of Dixon, so I tried to talk to him but the "joke" persisted. CAPTION 2: My hand hovered over my holster as I backed up.

Panel 6 - Dixon swinging with the pickaxe but missing our protagonist. CAPTION 1: Before I could even clear leather Dixon was pummelling and scratching me with a strength I knew he did not naturally possess. CAPTION 2: It was also then, I got a close look at his eyes.
