"Just tell me." Ilka seethed, trembling. "Tell me which hunter is coming." Pursing his lips, August exhaled, the cigarette crunching beneath his boot. He lowered his head. -- #bemdraws #oc

Drop some KNIVES 🔪🖤🗡️ Yao has a lot of knives. Kitchen knives, operating knives, "decorative" knives that look suspiciously sharp...

Illustration of Imperial Prince Baiqiao Yaoshe (白橋妖蛇, “demonic snake of the white bridge”), one of the major villains from my Out of Memory webcomic. Yao is a beautiful young man that appears to be in his early twenties, with pink eyes and wavy purple hair that extends to the middle of his back. Sketch of #Skara. She is Zhaikes' and Rhaski's sister. Her species shows little sexual dimorphism, although she is considered rather bulky and powerful for her kind. Look at her chin. The lack of chin tips is the only obvious tell that she is female. [ #art #sketch #ZhorKhat #alien ]

Photo of two sketches of my OC Skara (species: Zhor Khat). The primary sketch shows her from a slight bottom-up angle while she is staring at something with a grim expression. Her ears a pointed and her nose is flat with slits. Her chin doesn't have the protruding double-tips like the males of her species. The secondary sketch is off to the side, only showing parts of her head. Skara is muscular with broad shoulders and looks like someone who could break your bones. Art by Kathaja Krim.

Okay!! Finally got around to doing this. I’ve been meaning to celebrate 600+ followers for a little while now lol but I took a hiatus from social media for a few months. I’m in the mood to draw people’s OCs! Please check out the rules and whatnot, and if you got questions, lmk!

Data2048 600+ Follower OC Challenge!

Rules:
1) Be a follower (new followers are def okay!)
2) Like and Repost this post
3) Give me ONE (underlined) OC and tell me a little about them!

4) I will draw most anything, but do be wary that Mecha and animals are not my strong suits. As a fair warning, I don’t really draw NSFW content, so please tag appropriately.
5) No AI / NFTs or anything to promote hate. (In small text) I will block you immediately.

Notes:
- I will draw as many OCs as I can. All drawn OCs will be in color and be the equivalent of a half-body commission.

-I don’t require an art trade, but if you want to draw an OC of mine, go for it!

- Tips on Ko-Fi are also appreciated, but not required. (It does not make me draw any faster lol)

This OC Challenge will close on: Saturday, September 5 @ 11:59 pm (EST)

Previous illustrations

33 other OCs done in a similar challenge, as examples for what an illustration may look like.

Guys, let's chat! When do you start liking other artist's ocs, and why? Is it because of the artist's style/skill, oc's designs or the themes that interest you, or something else? When do you get curious to learn something new about them, feel like diving into their story?

Congrats and thank you for hosting! 💜 I'm blue, a hobbyist comic artist. I draw a dark fantasy comic called Out of Memory. Here are some of my favorite illustrations and comic pages from the story~ tapas.io/series/Out-o...

Cover illustration for the Out of Memory - Volume 1 cover. It features Kurosawa Makoto (黒澤誠, "sincere black marsh") / Zhen Xinyi (真心意, multiple meanings) and Baiqiao Yaoshe (白橋妖蛇, “demonic snake of the white bridge”).

Yao is an elegant bishie (pretty boy) who appears to be in his late twenties or early thirties, with long, curly medium purple hair that extends past his shoulders and pink eyes with white pupils. He is wearing an elaborate red and purple outfit that resembles traditional Chinese hanfu and is holding a pipe that is shaped like a serpent's head in his right hand. Yao’s outfit is extremely expensive and is decorated with a good amount of gold and gemstones. His boots and sash are especially elaborate and have large, teardrop-shaped rubies embedded in them.

Xinyi is similarly elegant and appears to be around the same age as Yao. He has blue-purple hair eyes and wavy chin-length hair. Xinyi is wearing a tight black top that hugs his sculpted chest and abs. The top is sleeveless and comes with a hood. His left arm is covered in black bandages and a glove, and he is wearing black armor over his right arm. His lower body is covered by multiple cloths that end in a wing-like pattern. His metallic black boots also sport multiple wing-like carvings.

Xinyi is holding a long, black sword in his left hand. A small crow (Corneille) is resting on Xinyi’s outstretched right hand, their wings are spread wide.

Both men have enigmatic smiles on their faces. Xinyi is directly facing the viewer, while Yao is standing slightly behind him and is facing towards the left side.

Digital illustration of Aisling Jespersen and Luce Iustus from Out of Memory. The two are locked in an embrace - Luce is caressing Aisling’s cheek with his right hand, and Aisling’s placed her left hand over his. Her right hand is placed gently on his left shoulder.

Both appear to be in their mid-twenties. Aisling has wavy white hair that extends down to her shoulders and pink eyes with no pupils. Luce has long, wavy, light brown hair and dark green eyes with no pupils.

Aisling is wearing a long, white cape with a hood over her dress and white metallic boots that extend past her knees. A pair of wings extend from the sole of each boot. Her eyes are closed, and she is shedding a tear. Her dress is black, dark red, and old in color, with the outermost layer resembling the feathers of a black swan.

Luce is wearing a suit of fancy, multi-layered armor. His armor is primarily green, dark green, and black in color, with red gems embedded in the upper back and in the wrist and elbow guards. A pair of gold and black wings extend out from below the shoulder plates, and there are smaller wing-like decorations on either side of his waist.

Like Aisling, Luce is wearing knee-high metallic boots. His are light green in color, with gold wing-like structures extending out of the armor covering the front part of the boot. He is looking over his shoulder and glaring at the viewer.

Luce’s shield, which is just as elaborate as his armor, is propped against a pillar behind the two of them. They appear to be standing in ruins.

From the Out of Memory - Prologue.

Princess Sheng Feng is shown falling from a great height, as the building she was hiding in is shown crumbling in the background. The brooch she wears at her waist emits a powerful light. Shortly after, a small white phoenix emerges from the brooch, and Sheng Feng reaches desperately for her. The phoenix grabs onto the back of Sheng Feng's collar, breaking her fall. They turn to face a large Chinese-style house, which has ominous wisps of smoke emanating from it.

Digital black and white, manga-style illustration of Baiqiao Yuetu (白橋月兔, meaning "moon rabbit of the white bridge”), a character from my Out of Memory webcomic, imagined as a moon jellyfish. Drawn for MerMay, using Clip Studio Paint.

Yue appears to be a teenager, but is actually much older. She is a princess from the Baiqiao Royal Family, and has a subtle rabbit theme. She has medium-length white hair, which she wears in two long pigtails, and blue eyes with diamond-shaped white pupils.

Yue appears to be half-human, half-jellyfish. She is wearing a top with puffy, billowy sleeves. The lace-like decorations on her collar and top resemble the eyespots of moon jellyfish. Three raindrop-shaped blue jewels are embedded into the bottom of her top.

I was inspired by a vintage illustration on Pinterest and decided to make it wholesome with Hollis and Rowhan. “Let me be your haven” is written in Hollis’ handwriting next to a pair of dogwood and ground laurels which both represent something like Hope.

Rowhan kisses the top of Hollis’ head. And Hollis looks extremely at peace.

It feels like a page out of a scrapbook.

“Let me be your haven” is written by Hollis with both ground laurels and dogwood blossoms nearby
