![Composite digital art with backgrounds kindly borrowed from Final Fantasy 14. A tall, slender Elezen man in his early thirties, "Lover", is walking casually down a neon-lined backstreet of Solution Nine's Recreation Zone. He is wearing a Vanguard Bolero of Aiming and Neon Street Cargo Trousers and Vanguard Shoes of Aiming in white, grey, pink and black, and he has lightly tanned skin, dark purple hair with pink highlights. His narration text reads as follows:
Hello there. [heart emoji]
You can call me Lover. I work at Origenics. I'm not a scientist or a doctor, though.
The kind of work that goes on there these days is different to the work you're probably thinking of.
About eight years ago, our whole way of life here at Solution Nine changed. We're still in the process of adjusting. My work helps with that adjustment.
I enjoy it a lot. [heart emoji]

![A continuation of the scenario in the previous image, in two panels. In the first panel, Lover has been joined in a dark backalley by a tall, stocky Hyur Highlander man in his mid twenties, "Darling", who has slipped an arm around Lover from behind and is groping his backside with his free hand as he nuzzles amorously into Lover's neck. Darling has tanned skin and short-clipped burgundy hair, and is wearing a Form-Fitting Neotunic in grape purple and Loose Fit Cargo Trousers in black. Lover is turning his head towards him, smiling as he reaches back to touch Darling's thigh in return, steadying himself against the wall. Their dialogue reads as follows:
Darling: C'mon, lover. Let me have a li'l bit. [heart emoji]
Lover: Haha. Not yet, darling. [heart emoji]
Lover's narration text reads as follows:
I was born here. I grew up here. Things have changed, but that's fine.
The important things are still the same. I still have lots of friends, for example. [heart emoji]
In the second panel, Lover has turned to rest his back against the wall as he and Darling embrace, Lover draping one arm lazily over Darling's shoulder as he draws him in with his other hand at the nape of Darling's neck, Darling pulling Lover's hips towards his own as they move to kiss, both smiling warmly as their lips almost touch. Their dialogue reads as follows:
Darling: Mmh. When can we fuck?
Lover: Soon. [heart emoji]
Darling: Can I have a li'l kiss at least?
Lover: You can always have a little kiss. [heart emoji]
Lover's narration text reads as folows:
I love my job, and I love my friends. I couldn't be happier. [heart emoji]

![A continuation of the scenario in the previous image, in two panels. In the first panel, Lover has arrived at Origenics, where he is received by Doctor Larimar, an older Hyur Highlander man with dark skin and mostly black but greying hair, which is long on top and neatly tied up, with very short-clipped sides. He is wearing spectacles and a white labcoat over a black shirt, waistcoat and trousers, with a dark blue-green tie. Larimar is holding a clipboard, upon which printouts of various readings are fastened, as he warmly greets Lover, who is casually preparing to unzip his jacket as he greets Larimar in turn. A blonde Viera man wearing the same black shirt, waistcoat and trousers as Larimar is sitting at a workstation in the background, his back turned. Lover and Larimar's dialogue reads as follows:
Larimar: Hello again! It's good to see you! Are you ready for your next procedure?
Lover: Absolutely. [heart emoji]
Lover's narration text reads as follows:
And now that I've had my three month break, it's time to get back to work.
Doctor Larimar is my specialist. He looks after me. I work under him, in a way.
In the second panel, Lover and Larimar have moved to a laboratory room, where Lover, now wearing a light blue hospital gown, which he is gently tugging to prevent the viewer from seeing his exposed backside, is resting one hand on the examination table he is preparing to lie on. Lover is looking directly at the viewer with a calmly knowing smile on his face, while Larimar, standing in front of a large, multi-screened monitor with numerous readings displayed, has his back turned.
Larimar: Your levels look good, as always! Go ahead and make yourself comfortable and we'll get started in a moment.
Lover's narration text reads as follows:
I'll leave you to guess what my job might be.
