Still very... slowly.. working on their comic. 🐌 Until I get the energy to put it on comicfury or namicomi, it'll only be on webtoons for now once tapas goes. Anyway, no context off model sketch for you xD #rangkai #oc

Rangkai leans over and points to his eyes, saying, "My eyes are sadder now because of you." Yan Qiang leans back slightly, looking a little amused and maybe a bit incredulous.

"Just tell me." Ilka seethed, trembling. "Tell me which hunter is coming." Pursing his lips, August exhaled, the cigarette crunching beneath his boot. He lowered his head. -- #bemdraws #oc

A close up shot of Brocade hunter, Marin. She wears a wide hat, with a barbed wire band. Her right eye is white and the edges of the lids are "chipped." Her other eye is brown and she gazes right at the viewer.

can't decide on the actual 16:9 version, so here's a wip crop for now. She is Marin, one of my bounty hunters. #bemdraws #oc #ocart

A close up photo of my screen shows Marin staring at the viewer. She has one silver white eye that is a bit scraped up, one dark brown eye, wavy greenish hair and a big ol hat.

Congrats, Nik!! This is so cool! I'll enter Zihui/Yan Qiang. If you draw him, he can be in any of the outfits/hairstyles & feel free to alter or simplify. He's the king's investigatory enforcer - quiet, executive and conniving. His most frequently used spells cause storms and blackfire.

Zihui, aka Yan Qiang's boss encounter entry depicts him with his trademark annoying little smirk, along with some stats and his title in Chinese.

Zihui/Yan Qiang's ref sheet with him in a few different layers/outfits and hair lengths or hair... choppiness?

2. His eyes are dark blue but it's hard to tell bc sometimes I just draw people's eyes black

A crop of a recent picture of Aorihn and Yusheng. Aorihn's face is serious, while Yusheng grins.

Good question! xD From inside, it looks more like a forest. From a distance/ looking out from the kingdoms, it looks like a sea.

A drawing of the Forest Sea just before sunset

A sunset shot from above the Forest Sea bordering Yidoralis. The treetops merged together vaguely resemble ocean waves.

1. I rarely show Aorihn with his weapons so it may come as a surprise that his kingdom has pretty advanced magi-tech! But the more complex the tech, the more Dawn-Risen (born magic users) look down on it. Aorihn doesn't care though. He loves to invent gadgets! I need to update this sheet 💀

Ref sheet of some of Aorihn's arsenal. These are old designs of his luminous weapons. They include his main rifle, which morphs into a mace/slingshot, and his pistol, which morphs into his main bow.

OK enough about Yusheng. It's getting hard not to put spoilers (a couple of those already were 👀) So I'm going to switch to Aorihn

A traditional sketch of Aorihn. There is a sharp bright light coming from the right. His face is mostly in soft shadow.

A grinning man with slightly elongated proportions. He has one black horn and one white horn with a hole in it. Spider leg like appendages float behind him. His long hair is unruly and has cut out shapes that seem unnatural for hair.

A long vertical composition depicts Aorihn at the edge of his hunting raft looking into the water, harpoon in hand and ready to launch. Below the water's surface is Yusheng, looking up at the hunter in awe. His own spear is clasped lightly in his hand pointed down behind him, not poised for attack at all. Aorihn stands against a bright red sunset that fades into blue. Yusheng's long black tail has hook-like spikes and fins that seem to turn whatever they overlay transparent.

Rangkai crouches among wildflowers. Yan Qiang stands behind him with a harvesting basket on his back, hardly matching the rest of his military noble attire. Yan Qiang was created to fit the class bully role in Quan Xi's story. But Yan Qiang was a foil to Quan Xi, who was designed to be atypical for this genre.. so in a way, it was also indulgence. I got to go ham making YQ the most donghua looking dude ever 😂 but then he stuck! 😅 #art #oc #bemdraws

Cropped bust shot of Yan Qiang, who started as a bully side character. In this shot, he's upset after being captured and tied up. He has a high ponytail, slender features, a long straight nose and sharp eyes.
