walking back to check on twitter is like walking into a building where there are stink fumes, but no stink source in site but you KNOW something stinks..

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

also for reference The Bad Place is a song by an indie band named waitress for anyone who wants to check them out! (vibes kinda like will wood and tally hall)

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

hi whats up i'm back after uhhh idk how long wanted to say this *taps mic* Stop harassing devs (roblox, indie, etc) over wanting to improve a game. The world won't end, also stop ruining ships and games for others *drops mic* ok i'm tired now lol

000

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

won't lie, this took like 3 days buh,, mainly due to lack of motivation but it's finally done :') (yes the song is a reference to Ship of Theseus by Chonny Jash :p)

000

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

" Oh, Theseus, can you see? The crowd below, and the Gods above thee. . .They commend me. " some goofy minecraft smp character art :)

to break up the uh rant lol have a hint at a phighting OC concept (aka just the gear because i am tired and don't feel like drawing atm buh,,)

000

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

i feel like me revealing to the bsky public that i am indeed a subkit shipper AND a medhammer shipper is the least shocking thing to happen on my page💀

000

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

sorry for the sudden rant lol just as someone who has characters and stories for them of their own, it pains me to see someone get bashed for wanting to change course especially game wise (also want to clarify i am in NO WAY a professional, just very passionate about character writing/game stories)

100

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

+ and while yes i agree some aspects should be kept as a sake for character development, somethings need changing, that's how character writing and even GAME WRITING in general goes! things change, and sometimes said changes make the story more appealing to wider audiences!+

100

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

+phighting lol,, as a subkit shipper who personally doesn't mind what happens to either subspace or medkit as characters, it's a good story and game. i love characters who are silly and evil, i love characters who are even evil to the point of being unredeemable,, it makes a story GOOD. +

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

hot take🧵: as someone with stories/ocs of their own, rewrites are bound to happen lol doesn't matter if it could be the most FLESHED out story known to man or the most cut and dry characters the earth has seen, the OCs/character grow with a game and/or person! and yes this is in reference to+

beetle 🐉⋆⭒˚｡⋆ @beetlezjuice.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

real talk, i've been working (not only irl) but also on other phighting OCs that are a wip along with a Pipes rewrite teehee anywho tagz #oc #art

it's important for anyone, but especially artists to be very vocal, loud, and proud about their stances on human rights/politics. Our work reaches communities, what we create, share & show makes a difference. Art cannot be separated from humanity. Keep making things that showcase the world you want

I've talked to a few folks this morning who were talking about stopping work on their creative projects. Because it's "not important anymore." I don't know who needs to hear this, but DON'T DO THAT. We win by living our lives as loudly and truly as we can. That includes your "silly" art project.

You are allowed to celebrate good things that are happening today: your birthday, a book coming out, new baby, new puppy, seeing your favorite piece of art in person, etc. Joy is the knife that stabs into the heart of despair & apathy. Feel your joys, big & small, & share them widely & loudly.

Block every asshole who shows up on Bsky. Don’t even think about it. Just blockaroo. Blockity block. Block ME if you think I’M being an asshole. This place, as opposed to the old place, needs to be the place where assholes don’t go to frolic. No frolicking assholes is what I’m saying.
