Brewing IPAs like its 2014. Such a curious and unique hop and it's worked out well here, I think. Replaced the hot side Chinook and Columbus dry hop with Sorachi, keeping the Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic for balance.

Interesting as always from Matt. I wonder how much the resurgence in cask has been fuelled by the globals pulling back from mass production, creating space on the bar for heritage brands like Bass, Boddingtons and output from smaller breweries.

We're having a clear out and I found my old Acer Aspire One Netbook - remember netbooks? Far too small to do much work on but looked pretty cool. Anyway, it powered on without a glitch. Windows 7 even awoke from sleep mode and was still showing and old work presentation! (pic nicked from eBay)

We ditched our home landline years ago, as 99% of the calls were spam. Family and friends had our mobile numbers. I'm now at the stage where our business one is 99% spam too (and thus impacts productivity) and considering ditching that, or just diverting it permanently to voicemail.

Sunday eve batch cook of this lovely recipe done. Used 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp tumeric and 1 tsp cumin seeds as the spice based and substituted cream with coconut milk to keep it vegan. Example of how Beer Duty is changing for us as of February 1st on our biggest selling beer, at an output of ~60HLpa (1200HL total). Broadly, going down slightly for beer sold to the on trade (as this is discounted) and up slightly for beer sold to the off trade or retail.

Super happy with DOT this year. Presents nicely balanced between citrus and dank. Writing the book last year allowed me to pick some big brains and make a few minor tweaks, especially in terms of clarity of flavour. We consciously sat on this for 3 weeks before release to mellow.
