I see people vaping at restaurants and movie theaters - with an exception of nicer restaurants but I’ve also noticed some people are just a bit more discrete there, or they immediately vape when they leave. Could just be a regional different but nicotine addiction is alive and well in the US South.

Thats not even considering zins. I’m not saying it’s exactly the same rate as the 80’s. Only that it’s prevalent enough to be dosing plenty of undiagnosed ADHD people. And likely more prevalent than data is currently capturing.

People just…. Vape in those places? That’s kind of the point I’m making, it’s more discrete so the people who do vape are able to vape pretty much nonstop. I saw someone full bellied crying and hitting her vape between sobs at a stop light literally yesterday lol.

I’d be interested in how much of that relies on self reported data/how long it will take the data to catch up with behavior. I don’t vape, but most of the people I know do and they all claim they vape a hellll of a lot less than reality. It’s less noticeable and trackable. But you may be right!

My sleep has been so much better recently since starting meds (even on nights I don’t take it) but after getting in late from a long drive, and being woken up by a loud train 3x as I was juuust about to fall asleep…. Oof I’m dreading my drowsiness tomorrow.

Also worth mentioning you can’t remove them while you sleep. You really have to try to keep them in for 22 hours/day, so you’re only removing them for meals! That may move the dial if they have sensory issues.

Also depending on what they’re tying to fix there are limitations with Invisalign! Their dentist should be able to tell you if Invisalign would be enough or if braces would be needed.

I will say Invisalign is a lot of work so it would take a pretty responsible kid (not sure of yours age) to keep up with it. Braces kind of force them to keep up with it, but I’ve heard they’re more painful.

Before deciding to elope, BoyB and I had a wedding venue booked for today. Last year on October 3 the weather was beautiful. Breezy and cool. We thought “oh good the weather will be perfect on our wedding day”. We attended an outdoor event today and it was BLAZING hot.

Hashbrown's cultures from his liver biopsy came back negative (great news) but we're still waiting for the histopath report. I'm just so worried and I hope they can find the problem (and that it has an easy solution!). He's only five, I need so many more years with him.

era drama loosely based on real events - solid movie and I learned something new. I LOVED The Rivals of Amziah King and sobbed during it, but the editing style will not be everyone's cup of tea. The Invite is an uncomfortable comedy and in my top 5 movies this year. Hokum is a fun Adam Scott horror.

Truly the dream. I don’t know what happened to my iPod shuffle (peak imo) or my iPod touch. But I’d kill for the shuffle again. Just clip it to your shirt and go for a stroll??? So simple. Tech was moving so fast by the time I graduated high school that you didn’t hold onto things the same way.

I *have* started over w/ building my physical library of DVDs and my husband came into the relationship with a pretty respectable record collection that is ever growing. But I don’t know that I have it in me to rebuild a digital library when I’ve essentially done that through streaming playlists.

Honestly most people I know up to age 50 stream. 50+ is more of a mixed bag. As a younger millennial, I fear we weren’t smart enough to preserve our media. Old laptops, cameras, etc were lost to time. Maybe just speaking for myself. I’d have to start over building my own digital library.

I spent years on the IR but it eventually stopped working, so I tried everything else before we landed on adderall XR. I’ll usually have 1 cup of coffee, matcha, or tea about 2.5 hours into the day. If I don’t feel like I need it I just have a lunch soda to curb caffeine headaches.

This was my problem with concerta. It took too long to kick in and lasted too long so if I woke up late at all I couldn’t take it without it also impacting my sleep. But I also have to wait an hour after waking to take adhd meds so that complicated it.

Hashb has a biopsy of his liver today. Idk who is more unwell. Me, bc my soul dog is inexplicably sick. Or Hashb, bc he couldn’t have breakfast. (He feels and is acting fine that’s part of what makes the liver stuff so difficult to diagnose)
