Five years ago I was solo living in a studio apartment and finally made the jump to get a puppy. I brought home an angel who changed my life. From 25 & 8wks to 30 & 5, this dog has been here through my most important years. Happy gotcha day to my soul dog, Hashbrown. Can yall believe it’s been 5yr?

2/28/2026: Had the elements of a great movie but lacked cohesiveness. I've decided it needed a different soundtrack. There were multiple scenes the music didn't match the energy and messed with the pacing imo. Powell was doing something weird with his voice. Qualley was a proper freak. 6/10 let down

2/21/2026: This is.. a Jason Statham movie. Bodhi Rae Breathnach was great at playing a spunky young girl who has faced too much trauma. Statham was fine at playing himself. If you catch it in theaters, fun, if not.. well you've seen this movie before you aren't missing much. Spoiler: dog dies. 6/10

2/20/2026: The most romantic rendition of Dracula I can recall seeing. Christopher Waltz plays himself and does it well. You believe that Caleb Landry Jones and Zoe Bleu are in love. Beautifully shot as any Dracula film must be. 7/10 on imdb would probs be 6.5/10 though. BoyB hated gargoyle boys.

2/16/2026: Fun, topical, fast-paced, and always engaging. This movie is actually three Black Mirror episodes in a trench coat. Casting couldn't have been better. Characters you want to root for. Twist endings. I LOVED this movie. Streamable. Will rewatch. 8/10. 9/10 if they cut the big AI cat.

2/11/2026: I didn't get it and anyone who says they did is lying. You never get any answers which I'm fine with but idk. Beautifully filmed and sound was incredible so worth seeing in theaters but wouldn't watch at home. Interested in future stuff by Mark Fischbach bc the bones were good. 6/10

1/28/2026: THIS IS WHAT MOVIES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. 100% worth seeing in theaters and I may rewatch in theaters. Jessie Buckley steals the show she is so real and raw and lovable. Paul Mescal perfectly captures how emotional and ridiculous men are. I cried a couple times. 9/10 favorite movie rn.

1/19/2026: Boring wannabe-meta slasher film. A poorly executed Scream with an ape. I wanted to love this and there were cool components (deaf dad wandering the house unable to hear the murders) but it just didn't hit. Boring. But gory and the gore was done well. 5/10 being generous.

1/17/2026: Went in blind and was pleasantly surprised. Stressful but fun to watch. Costuming was impeccable. Bill Skarsgard unsettling. Cary Elwes and Colman Domingo HOT. Not sure why it got poor reviews but I will likely rewatch. A movie made for B!! 8/10

1/4/2026: 2h 30m of the worst guy you know refusing to grow up and making it everyone else's problem. Characters aren't likable. Wasn't invested in the outcome of the big match. Acting, casting, and soundtrack were A+ so it is still a well-made movie. 7/10 on IMBD rounded up from 6.5. Streamable.

1/2/2026: Pretty classic zombie movie in a lot of ways. Plot moves through the military clean-up "post" zombie apoc which is a slightly different view. Daisy Ridley is solid. It gives you all the elements you want in a zombie movie, but doesn't pack a punch. Won't rewatch and could be streamed. 6/10

I got a cucumber starter to see how they do in my yard. I specifically got one for pickling. The problem with getting ONE is that now I get one pickle every 2-4 days and they’re supposed to be pickled right away. Good news is I do have 3 more cucumber plants I started from seed a bit farther behind.
