Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Challenges is such a nice way of putting it haha I'm glad you're at least having some fun! I also have mush-brain but we made it to Friday, we're so close now. 000
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 10/09/2026It's fun being a Not-Man in comics and having to ask around about men when you get offered a new project. 0100
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 03/09/2026It's 100% gonna make scripts better! Especially if a letterer is working from it. You'd be surprised how many scripts I get where I have no idea what an SFX is for or where it's supposed to come from so it's nice to think there's people out there thinking about that! 110
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 03/09/2026forever one of my favourite books so this was such a nice surprise ❤️ 110
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I wanna say "SAME" but I won't be a dick 🤡 thank you for the very very kind words! 000
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 02/09/2026That's actually really fascinating! I wonder what other weird things you'll notice popping up? I hope they're all good things at least hahah 110
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Thank you! I’ve had so much fun working on those, it’s so funny going from gritty-moody-superhero to these beautiful, sugar coated landscapes hahah 010
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 01/09/2026It’s crazy that this isn’t common sense? I hate that editors are never mentioned either. I feel like a lot of people would see the same names popping up with books and stories they like. Maybe one day 😮💨 110
Reposted by Becca Careycpuk (trampoline park connoisseur and occasional comic printer) @comicprintinguk.bsky.social · 01/09/2026There’s actually a really easy rule of thumb here: if at any point you were waiting on a person (not a company, a person) to do something that needed to be done before the book could exist then that person goes on the creative team list for press releases. 1215
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Thank you for this very niche post! I also love tails and I think a lot of us get very obsessed with them so it’s nice to know there’s probably two or three people out there who notice hahah 110
Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 01/09/2026This is a special kind of kick in the teeth. A real exercise in self restraint and I think we’re all doing great at it 🥸 010

Becca Carey @beccasee.bsky.social · 09/07/2026Normally the writer does a lettering pass once art is in because otherwise you're kind of asking the letterer to do their job twice (it happens and it sucks). I'm typically lettering over inks, I'd prefer colours (I think most of us would) but letters and colourists usually end up working in tandem. 110
