I realized my canon DA romances go Crow, Wolf, Wolf, Crow so I wanted to play with that in the style used in the Dragon Age Keep. Would eventually love to try the DAI tarot card style too. #dragonage #dragonagefanart

Wonder if my anti-AI-generated books video hit a nerve... #Booksky

As an indie author with over a decade of experience writing romance novels, with over 200 books written. I'm also a single mother with a BA in creative writing and no other marketable skills. I started using AI in 2023 because the algorithm and the fact that most romance is human slop already. With thoughtful use, my AI generated books are just as good if not better than my previous work. Which necessitated that I rapid release written to market romance. If I could spend my time writing literary feminist horror, I'd do that in a heartbeat. But that would mean my children starve. So, I write what people actually buy. I can tell you that the MAJORITY of KU romance novels are now written with AI. I know AI writing well enough to spot it within a few paragraphs. If you don't have to live off your writing or you have the ability to meticulously write your smut by hand, good for you. But elevating rapid release genre fiction to this moral line in the sand is a choice. LOL. I've been in the indie community long enough to know that this community never gave a shit about craft or art or authenticity. It's pretty fucking hilarious that it cares about it now. After I've suffered probably 3-4 episodes of extreme burn out. I honestly do not care what purists think of my work flow. You're not paying my bills. My AI books sell and get good reviews. Now, I would never claim to write 200 in a year because that is slop. And most AI influencers are LYING. I can do maybe write 15-20 with 10 years of experience, 200 books written, and a BFA in creative writing. But I guarantee most indie romance novels are now majority AI.

Listen...LISTEN. Sometimes you just need a spreadsheet breakdown of all the war assets in ME3 and their value and a column where you can start calculating your own and that is FINE.

***Urgent Action Needed*** We need everyone to call their reps to push back against HR2616, which would punish schools that "teach or advance concepts related to gender ideology" by withholding federal funding. It's part of their continued attack on the trans community. #booksky

it's a "write a quick poem to my kids" kind of morning I guess www.tumblr.com/beccacoffind...

white text on a black background. a poem that reads:
i wish upon you sharp teeth

“We are the daughters of the witches they couldn’t burn”
But the world doesn’t take from you with flames.
It takes from you in pieces,
papercuts in your skin that bleed slowly,
so small you can’t see them.
It is easier to fight back against one large looming terror
than a million little ones.

If I could take back anything I passed down to you, it would be this:
the deep river of anxiety that overwhelms us,
that trains us to swim with the current
so we don’t drown.
It keeps us from the shore,
rips our feet from the ground,
swamps our throats when we open our mouths.

My children, I wish upon you sharp teeth
and the rage to bare them.
When the world is unjust—
and it is always unjust—
know that you do not have to like to taste of blood
to be able to swallow it.

If there's one thing about me, I'm a b*tch who loves a color coded chart. In early July, I downloaded an app to organize my day job and author work and started using it to track words I'd written as well. Interested to see how it looks in 2026. #authorsky

Words I logged from July to December: 184,918

85,443 words from secret projects, some you'll eventually see and some you probably won't

46,655 words of original works in progress, not contracted in any fashion, just for me

48,497 words of fanfiction, and honestly I'm surprised it's not higher
