Extremely! He's even gotten the picturesque snuggle poses down

Can't come to work, cat too snuggly.

It's cold enough that Finn has requested snuggles in a blanket fort.

It's okay to be a little insane in these times

Racecat @becauseracecat.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Some nights you just gotta lounge around as a cat. Belly rubs and snuggle partners welcome ;3

I'm so absolutely ready to pack up and move back to the woods and just be a happy, lonely woodland cryptid.

Probably doesn't help that everyone's in a near perpetual state of burnout these days and in person hangout is still a significantly bigger commitment than Internet chatting.

Racecat @becauseracecat.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

If that makes sense, hard to reduce this concept to limited character text boxes

020

Racecat @becauseracecat.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

The answer is that you're communicating *despite* the distance, meaning that you're meeting people who align more with the interest/communication style. When you're trying to connect to people in close proximity, it's more likely that you're overcoming a difference in communication style/interest

Hey, thanks for meeting me at the bottomless lounge! Whaddya mean you thought it meant bottomless drinks? Ahh well, if you're thirsty... 🎨 by @bedtimebuck.bsky.social

It's a naked cheetah leaning against a stool and looking right at you while he slurps some kind of summery drink.

Is the world finally ready to understand the cinematic brilliance that is Southland Tales? It's back on Hulu and I'm seeing recently posted YouTube reviews that are going "wait this movie actually did have a point?" Yes it did, kids, and got dayum was it scarily prescient

Yeeeee, my SP-01! That stupid thing has been a needy little butthead but GOT DAYUM does it shoot. Basically out of the box it just broke all the things that I wanted to upgrade anyways and now it's pretty tricked out as a result. I love it!

CW: Guns, Firearms Spotted one of the pistols I've been casually shopping for on a used rack this week, and just had to commit to it. Now I'm finally back in the Beretta 92 world with a gorgeous 92X Performance. My Gucci Wonder 9s collection is really coming together.

"Howdy Y'all" has become a regular, gender neutral salutation in my lexicon for addressing a group. It slaps, deal with it.

Dash the Cheetah - this compact cat is the fastest land mammal on the planet. They’re often highly strung but surprisingly docile around humans. The hood shown in this image is a size Medium and has Oxide Black hardware. Shown with Curved, Triangle and Tufted ears.

Nice! I've owned all of the first 4 generations of Legacy through my years. They really are great cars!

Racecat @becauseracecat.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Rounded out the weekend with a bunch of car washes. Given he's the star of the weekend, enjoy a freshly washed Legacy.

It's pretty limited to the upright and the hub area, thankfully. A new hub and bearing and some POR15 will clean it up well when I get to that point one of these days

Racecat @becauseracecat.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

The Legacy got some fine new brakes and wheel studs today. There was a few trials and tribulations but there was also hammers.

The Legacy is back! New oil pan in, because having oil available to your motor is important, I guess. I was able to add some motor mounts during the project, so it's got vibes now (like, it literally vibrates, it's great.)

After going MIA for a week, the box with the rest of the parts for the Legacy arrived! This will round out the tune up and brake overhaul the car needs. Then I'll just need to figure out why the hood doesn't close and put something resembling an exhaust on it and it'll be an actual car!

The Legacy got some new ignition parts this weekend, and only two of the four bolts had to be sacrificed for the job! We've got a grille zip tied to the car, it's driven a few miles on the road, and now it's time to clean the old Turbo door cards to go in.
