Beau 🏠 @beau.house · 13/05/2026Any chance your Ilford MG is fogged? I know it’s matte and warm tone, but the paper base looks unusually yellow. Is it that colour if you fix an undeveloped strip? Maybe it’s just the comparison to a really bright inkjet paper 🤔 110
Beau 🏠 @beau.house · 08/05/2026This project started because I was making something for myself, but connecting with others during the process has been an unexpected pleasure. I also learned a ton about React Native, Expo, and native app development along the way. 010
Beau 🏠 @beau.house · 08/05/2026I’m an analog kind of person, but I also do computer stuff for a living, so I decided to merge the streams and build an app for my favourite non-work activities: #filmphotography and #darkroom printing. The result is Darkroom Toolkit. Check it out: www.darkroomtoolkit.com 1153

Beau 🏠 @beau.house · 05/04/2026Cirrus bringing the convenience of hosting a simple website (for free) on a serverless platform to PDS self-hosting was really compelling. Couldn’t be happier with how easy it was to migrate. The CLI dashboard was a favourite part of the demo, which I noticed isn’t included in the PDS docs. 120

Beau 🏠 @beau.house · 31/03/2026One of many optimistic things I saw at the atmosphere conference was how much potential the social aspect of @npmx.dev has to introduce developers to the protocol (that for whatever reason aren’t as likely to give bluesky a chance). 0231
