For those in England & Wales who don’t get them on the NHS: private flu & covid jabs are available from today. I’ve just had both at my local pharmacy. £115 for the pair. Yes, that’s expensive, but if you’re a freelancer & don’t get sick pay it’s probably a lot cheaper than taking time off.

I had to turn up to see if I was needed. Wait hours, then get sent home and told to come back the next day. In 2 weeks of in-person turning up and waiting, I read most of the Dungeon Crawler Carl books, watched too much awful daytime TV and spent about 45 minutes in a court room actually on a jury

That's awful - as others have said, it shows why we need pride, and why you should consider reporting it - it might just be a bit of banter to them, but it's still a crime, filming it just makes it worse, especially if they choose to post it somewhere.

bit of South Wales trivia 'The Tramshed' in Cardiff is a music/arts venue. 'The Tramshed' in Swansea is a museum. A shed containing a tram (and a couple of other local historic vehicles). I'll not make judgement as to which is cooler... I know it's #Tramshed :)
