Hey @mayorofchicago.bsky.social, how can you say you are serious about public safety when only 6% of shootings lead to arrests. The lack of consequences has serious impacts on the victims (hopelessness) and the criminals (emboldened). But I am sure this is ShotSpotters' fault, right?

Some food for thought for the Administration.... Firing people doesn't change the law, reduce the work or relax regulations. All it does is reduce the number of people who can review a permit application, issue a license, protect public safety and perform other essential government services....
