Gina Yashere on the cancellation of “Starfleet Academy:” “I’m fucking furious. It had nothing to do with ratings or online trolls or any of that bullshit. It was a purely political decision. There were too many Blacks, too many gays, and too many women. That’s it.” #STLV /1

I struggled for a while with whether I should make a different account for my original work or post it here, and I decided that life's too short for multiple bsky accounts 🥹 So now you get to see my self indulgent "X files/ Twin Peaks in space" OG #StarTrek horror 🫣 Hope you Enjoy!

Line up for Artist's original Star Trek horror project. On the top it says "USS CELESTE- NCC 74642"
First Line, left to right: The captain, an elderly Vulcan woman named Orrain, with gray hair and a scar on her face. Next, Ship's first officer Esan Okai- A Betazoid man in his 30's with black hair and ocular implants. Next in line, ship's counselor Lt Cmdr Ziki Ora, a middle aged Bajoran woman with a streak of grey hair, she is a little person.

Second line, left to right: Ships's Doctor and CMO, Lt Cmdr Kev Th'arennon, a middle aged Andorian man of cheery disposition. Next, chief engineer Lt Cmdr Egon Himmet, a Klingon woman in her late 30's, with a french braid. Nest in line, Ship's chief security officer Lt Cmdr Ashirin, she is a tall muscular woman who is from the same species as Jaylah from star Trek: Beyond. She has sleeked back white hair and dark face marks.

Third line (Lower Decks), left to right: Ship's pilot Lt Achille Njonkou, A human from Cameron (pronouns he/they), with dreads falling over the right side of his face, and the left side of his head is shaved to a fade, they are in their late 20's. Hang in there.

black and white star trek lower decks illustration of Dr T'ana. she's resting her chin in the palm of her hand. a stubby cigarette is smoldering between her fingers as she stares into the distance. the text says "In a world that profits from your exhaustion Rest is Punk." 'Punk' is done in colorful letters. the background is a crumpled sheet of paper.

yeah this is a very self-indulgent au inspired by me watching the human spock episode on a 400mg edible and going "what if drunk puberty spock and drunk erica had awful terrible one night stand that pleasured absolutely no one involved" because itd be funny, but then i sorta took it srsly..

erica ortegas from star trek strange new worlds in a sports bra. she is pregnant.

I love Tendi's new hair cut so much, I had to redraw it in the LD style

A few head canons me and my friends had and I wanted to draw. Non (explicitly) canon interaction time :D

Lower Decks characters depicted interacting with each other:

Ransom and Kayshon bonded over gardening (Kayshon just old man yapped at him and he nodded)

Barnes and Boimler have the occasional disagreement about which band is better, Monkees or Beatles

Matt and Kimolu get most of their gossip from Nurse Westlake (and you bet it is spicy)

Taylor is in T'Ana's book club

Shax regularly attends Dr. Migleemo Therapy Sessions and they genuinely help him, but Shax despises Dr. Migleemo's food puns

Procrastinating once again by doing cool challenges. I haven't tried #limitedpalette in a while, it was fun! #augpalettee26 #StarTrek #StarTrekLowerDecks #lowerdecks #BeckettMariner #BradBoimler I didn't cheat btw, I just overlaid and multiplied the palette to achieve darker and lighter colors.

A limited palette drawing of lieutenants Brad Boimler and Beckett Mariner from Star Trek: Lower Decks. They are standing back to back, linking one arm together. Both are smiling and throwing up Vulcan salutes with their free hands. Mariner is kicking the air. At the bottom right, the palette can be seen. It contains brown, earthy red, chrome yellow, beige and muted navy blue.

Happy All Hallows Eve ~ Trek or Treat 2025 🖖🏻🎃 "Oops! All Kirks!"

star trek lower decks fan art inspired illustration of the Upper Decks crew. They're in the mess hall aboard the USS Cerritos. from right to left, Steve Stevens is dressed as Captain Kirk in the green tunic, staring at Jack Ransom who's dressed as shirtless Captain Kirk, whose eyeballing a surprisingly fit Commander Billups, who's also dressed as shirtless Kirk. Between them is Dr Migleemo, dressed as Captain Kirk from "The Gamesters of Triskelion." Next, Dr T'ana, dressed as classic Kirk is making out with Shaxs, dressed as older Kirk. Next, Captain Freeman, as Uhura, is mortified as she was the only person to dress as someone other than Kirk. Finally, Kayshon is dressed as Captain Picard. He tried.
