I thought the reaction shot of the dad looked sussy when Percy was talking about the swamp!!! …but I also thought I’m reading too much into it and he was just unsettled over legends of monsters and stuff 🙃 Either way, I ship! 🥰

I think nearly the entire Horror genre boils down to the idea that it is worthwhile to fight until your very last breath. Even, and maybe especially, when there is no hope.

Don’t worry, those are made of plastic 😋

It feels like a death sentence. If the readers like it we get booted out. And if the devs like it…we AND the readers get booted out 😭 I wish I had a more positive outlook for the future of art online. But…yeah 🥲

I hate how it feels like it’s morphing slowly into Tapas. Too many (irrelevant and forced) ads, and the layout starts to navigate you away from canvas and more towards originals. I get that they need to make money but…I hope they don’t throw us under the bus 😣

AH WOW! I cannot recommend this Clip tool enough!! I always have to break panel frames on my comics the long way by just drawing above all my other layers and having to leave the original panel behind but this tool lets you make the panel the shape you need!! assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail...

Oh yeah, one eyed wonder grey twinsies!!! It’s funny, I lived with a lot of cats but he’s not only the first one with a disability but probably also the most loving cat I ever had 🥹

"Your life should not be a museum." "Being alive is as special an occasion as it gets."

An image of three screenshotted tweets. The original from user @hell_doe: "Thinking about the girl who bought me coffee from Texas and joked that I would have to ration it out for special occasions. My friend, I do not save my good things. Being alive is as special an occasion as it gets."

User Mike Hamilton, RIV tweeted a screenshot of the original tweet to say: "being alive is as special an occasion as it gets" fundamentally altered my brain."

User Oliver Darkshire quote tweeted Hamilton to say, "Ten years as an antiquarian, hearing nothing but "my relative kept these untouched in a box their whole life but they died and I don't want this stuff" has radicalized me. annotate the books. use the china. wear the clothes until they wear out. your life should not be a museum."

That explains a lot. I felt weird too that Solo Leveling is apparently such a big deal yet I have never seen any fan activity (except one cosplay of the main character in a mining outfit). And here I thought I was just a hater 😅

This is no joke! Making comics is absolutely one of the best way to improve your art. It forces you to draw so many things from angles you never expected. Its awesome!

I always feel like a narcissist when I try to hype my comics. Instead I try to be like ‘this is my art but it’s ok if you don’t like it’ which is probably far worse of an approach 😭

4 types of characters I write 1. Quirky, upbeat with no worries in the world (or so it seems) 2. Calm and long suffering 3. Reserved and lil shy but throws fists without hesitation when the right buttons are pushed. (Also control freak) 4. Femme fatale (you haven’t seen much of them yet, tho. 😜)

I always think ppl don’t rrl know what Canvas is and that most folks draw in their free time without the help of editors and proofreaders, let alone make very little cash if any. Dragging canvas comics through the mud or holding them to the same standards of mainstream projects is pretty vile, imo😕
