We had to say goodbye to our baby girl Chessie this weekend. She was my shadow for 17 years. Hardest thing I've ever had to do. I will miss you so much, Chester. Thank you for sticking by me and improving my life. I love you , big girl.

Took my baby girl to the vet today and they told us she has breast cancer. She is still doing ok for now. At her age, 17, there's not much to do but make her comfortable and keep her happy, which I will try and do in abundance! She's been my shadow for 17 years. I'm not ready :(
