Hmm looks like minio does not support multiple ranges either "to keep compatibility with s3" - github.com/minio/minio/... - this is very sad. I'd be really interested in benchmarking this because instinctively it does seem like being able to fetch multiple ranges in a single request would be great.

I'm glad someone asked.. it's hard to say how this happened without the full story :) So.. it's the early 2000s in Bombay, Leonard Cohen would come to visit an advaita teacher / spiritual guru in the winters. My sister would often hang-out at this same teacher's satsangs / sermon sessions.. 1/n
