It will never stop being funny to me that the street fighter subreddit has a much better, well reasoned ai policy vis a vis literally all universities.

Hi, thanks for posting! We do appreciate you thinking of us even though we have to moderate.

Our stance on all AI generated content (Images, Video, Voiceovers, and whatever else LLM based AI gets up to in the future):

At best, they are approximations of street fighter characters as the AI has no clue what it is trying to create. Because of this, there is no street fighter content so they are not allowed. (rule 1)

Also, they aren't allowed per our source rule. As AI sources cannot be tracked, we must assume that they use uncredited sources in the learning data. (rule 5)

Finally, AI images, video, text, and voiceovers are barely any different than posting a screenshot of a google search. The level of effort is so low that we consider it spam (rule 3).

Because of these reasons, AI art and other AI content is not allowed.

If you would like to contact the moderators about this removal, you can do so here.

Some heartbreaking animation news today from people who have been some of my animation heroes. It’s up to us to hold the line and build a better future for animation.

Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero. Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone. I hope this video clears that up.

But AI enthusiasts have starry-eyed dreams of conjuring up multi-stage, in-depth, triple-A games and that's... unlikely, no matter where AI takes us. Ever. The trick will be navigating an era where execs think devs should now make games by stringing those experiences together, on the cheap.

Fashion orcs. I always liked those between-chapters pages in some manga where the characters were dressed in modern fashion for the hell of it, no matter the setting. (she/her for all)

Three orc women in modern fashion. The left is in a sleek black dress and heels. She looks grumpy and has a knife in one hand. The center figure is the largest, with a more masculine build and dressed in a crisp black suit with matching shoes. The righthand figure is grinning, and is dressed in black slacks, shoes, and a sleeveless button-up top. #art #ocs #orcs 🖌️

this art dump starts in august. when some people think of land sharks they tend to imagine a dog or cat with shark attributes but what if slug? what if crab? what if snake? if it can hang out on land for any period of time in its chosen ecosystem then that body plan is free real estate.

guardian spirits from 3 villages. though they can be perceived in many ways when they wish, their physical forms are strongest when incense is lit at their shrines. the smoke also carries their voices so that they can speak with their villagers directly.
