Two Oklahoma mothers, Sheena Hamlin and Magon Hoffman, and their doctors are suing state officials over abortion bans that denied them care despite fatal fetal diagnoses.

The case, filed Tuesday, argues that Texas’ near-total abortion ban violates the state and U.S. Constitutions, which “prohibit state actors from killing their citizens.”
