There's something about lizzers that turns my brain mushy 🥵

Building on the second part of this, I think I mislabeled myself as "unsocial" or "introverted". I struggle with opening up to people, especially in groups, but once people get past my shell, I LIKE spending time with them.

Why did no one tell me about Auri Face 1?! Now I'm gonna HAVE to make a lizzer with each face option. No choice.

I attempted homemade jalapeno poppers for the first time. Didn't have a recipe, and tried it using cottage cheese. I think they turned out pretty well ☺️

I bought the Dark Angels Combat Patrol a while back, and my brother pointed out that it doesn't contain any unique DA units, so I can paint it as any Legion/Chapter. I may have chosen one I like the motif of.

Loneliness is an epidemic, and I caught it. I want to do more with people, but I don't know how to initiate with them.

I was watching CinemaSins, and he joked about making an "Alien vs Cenobite(s)" movie. Not sure how a xenomorph would open the box, or if they're capable of pain and pleasure [indivisible], but I want that movie.

I booted up XIV for the first time in a while. Backless dress🫦

I'm the kind of person who will talk to all types of animals, not just cats and dogs. Like "Hey, squirrel", and "It's gonna rain soon, bunny. Better get home", and "How you doing, skunk? Good garbage?", etc

I am SO tired. I only got about 2hrs of sleep, and it wasn't even good sleep, like a 2hr power nap. It was a broken, messy 2hrs spread across 8hrs.

I was looking at my movie collection and realized that she probably had *some* affect on my brain chemistry 🖤

In de beninging, I thought of Lorna Shore as basically "the demonic pig noises" band, and shrugged them off. They popped up on my radar again recently, and this album, and the one after are VERY GOOD. "...But within the expanse, I finally see a world without you isn't meant for me"

I joined a clan in Destiny 2, after sitting alone in my own for the last several years. Thanks to them I was finally able to do a D2 raid: Deep Stone Crypt. There's a section where you're basically on a spacewalk, with the game sounds muffled, and this song playing: *chef's kiss*

I tried something. [Ran a dungeon solo].

For those who don't know, dungeons are challenging, 3-player activities. If you played Destiny 1, think somewhere between a Strike and a Raid.

I was playing a Stasis Titan, which is practically unkillable. The few times I did die were because I got knocked off the map, and not to incoming damage.

With the news of Sam Neill passing, I decided to watch what may be my favourite sci-fi/cosmic-horror movie, 'Event Horizon'. Not his biggest role, but I like space stuff, and he was great in it

Anyone want to play [Destiny 2]? 😗 They made it pretty good since I stopped playing.

Barvald @barvhalla.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I kinda miss Destiny. It definitely had its low moments, but it was SO fun to play, and some of the stories were epic. If only it weren't mismanaged so badly, bogged down by battle passes, seasonal chaff, their culture of "under-delivery", sunsetting paid content, and countless barriers to entry.

I'm finally done reading my Aeldari Codex lore. I kept getting distracted, and only read for a bit before bed each day. I really liked the bit about Wraithknights always being piloted by twins, one living and one dead.

Aeldari are basically "elves in space", so you can imagine the grace and agility they would be able to move with. Then imagine that movement in a 15m/50ft tall mecha, armed with weapons such as 'Suncannons', 'Scatter lasers', or a colossal 'Ghost Glaive'

I got into Warhammer 40K because I thought the lore was really cool. Picked up a starter kit to have a couple minis to add to my nerd memorabilia(?), and also have an art project to keep me occupied for a bit. I now have an army I want to fully collect (Eldar), and a second army (Death Guard) I want

The impulses didn't win. I had the Tyranid Codex + Combat Patrol in my cart, and then the Genestealer Codex + Combat Patrol, and managed to not order anything. ...I already have another order on the way with a few Death Guard kits 😗
