I made...something. (See alt text) I used a tad too much soya sauce, but it was GOOD ☺️

The chunks are tofu, air-fried and then marinated in bulgogi sauce. The stir-fry part is mixed onions, peppers, carrots, garlic, and (the weird part) spaghetti. Fried that all together in some soya sauce and some more bulgogi sauce. I added some gochujang once I portioned it into a bowl.

I tried something. [Ran a dungeon solo].

For those who don't know, dungeons are challenging, 3-player activities. If you played Destiny 1, think somewhere between a Strike and a Raid.

I was playing a Stasis Titan, which is practically unkillable. The few times I did die were because I got knocked off the map, and not to incoming damage.

Spent my weekend working on my Warp Spiders, the last unit in my Aeldari Combat Patrol. I don't really like army painting, so I'm treating them each as a character instead. Here's the Exarch. I still need to do the other 4 models in the unit.

As you might guess by their name, they make small jumps into the Warp. They appear suddenly on the battlefield with a swift strike, and then disappear back into the Warp to strike again up to 100yds away. They fire razor sharp monofilament wire from their Spinneret Rifles and Death Weavers.

Did you crack them open yet? If not, you could maybe find one of [these] for fairly cheap. Then you can see how you feel about building and painting, and not worry so much about messing up da boyz.

Comes with a few Marines, few paints, and a brush. These models are also push-fit, so you won't need any glue.

I got so annoyed trying to paint Typhus fully assembled that I wanted to give up on him, and maybe even buy another model to start over with. I am not making the same mistake with my Lord of Virulence.

This makes me happy like very little else does. One of my first (if not THE first) minis vs the one I've been working on. I don't like to say a mini is "done" because I can always clean it up or add more detail, but yeah.

Look at the lumpy paint, messy details, and no shading or highlights.

I attempted OSL to make the toxic ooze look glowy, but I feel like it's missing something.

I almost don't want to keep working on this guy. I made the mistake of full-assembly before painting, and the smoke/bugs make the back impossible to fully paint, beyond the green airbrushing I did. I could make the front look as good as it can, but this is him right now
