For the last few weeks I've been previewing our upcoming Premier League games. The idea is to step away from the usual click bait, banter and nonsense that seems to follow modern football "conversations". Go and check out this week's chat with Cai the Everton fan pod.link/1337670733/e...

July has barely begun, children are still in their classrooms and Spurs have crushed the transfer market. Tottenham have woken up and realised that, financially, they've got some of the biggest muscles in world football. My thoughts on the BBC: www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

For the BBC, my thoughts on Luka Vuskovic after a chastening opening-game defeat at the hands of players he will be expected to face week in, week out did not go to plan. What is next for the youngster? www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

This was not a great escape. There is no motorbike or blond-haired lead actor to cheer on as they race towards safety. It is the sad story of a club that fell asleep at the wheel and reacted just in time to avoid disaster. There is no divine right to PL football www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

In real-life rescue situations, it's well documented that the most dangerous moment comes right before safety. It is known as the rescue paradox. You're not safe until you are wrapped in foil and someone has handed you a hot drink. My thoughts for BBC www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

True Spurs fans knew this was always going to be our destiny. Like a classic computer game, we would have to vanquish the end-of-level boss to progress. My bit for the BBC on the rivalry between Spurs and Chelsea and the task ahead of us. www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

Watch how many players now stop the ball and put their studs on it. It is controlled, deliberate. Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, like an experienced tango dancer at a milonga. Roberto de Zerbi has awoken something in this group. My thoughts on Tottenham winning AGAIN www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

"Our decision-makers may finally have found a manager capable of saving us, but it is too late. Roberto de Zerbi appears to have given us lift, but the runway is too short. We are not going to make it." My thoughts on Spurs' biggest battle. Us Vs Time. www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

"It takes something special for a club to go through four managers and for nothing to change. Four different sets of principles, four different approaches, four different game plans, yet nothing sticks." My bit for the BBC www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

Bardi @barditei.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

The Tottenham board split the fanbase by appointing Roberto de Zerbi. So what happens now? Will a manger who was at the cutting edge of football be able to adapt quickly to this new PL? My thoughts for BBC www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

Ultimately a slippy 15 minutes in Madrid killed us, but for the first time in what feels like a lifetime, there is a togetherness on the pitch and in the stands that has been missing for a long time. My post Atleti thoughts on the BBC www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

I made a list of people I want out of my club and by the time I finished it, Tottenham felt like a very lonely place. There are precious few faces I want to see pop up next season. My bit for the BBC which their editors had to tone down a bit. www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

As much as I don't like Frank, I really don't need to hear a lot of waffle from the players about how they..... 1. Didn't like his methods 2. Felt disconnected 3. Bored in training Wind your necks in, 3 weeks ago you were having a go at the fans.

My bit for the BBC "Frank has failed to imprint on this team a way of playing that we can get behind. There is a carelessness to our play and this is echoed by the fact that our manager does not even realise he's drinking from an Arsenal cup." www.bbc.com/sport/footba...
